Students learn the fascinating facts about wildlife trees and their importance to BC’s wildlife. By the end of the presentation students will be able to identify five different kinds of trees and learn the importance of wildlife trees to the animals in our are. Specific wildlife species are also introduced including: black bears, owls, bats, and woodpeckers. The concepts of habitat and ecosystems are discussed and how humans can have a positive or negative impact on the environment.
