This workshop includes a short presentation on wildlife and wildlife trees and their importance to ecosystems. Students will have the opportunity to individually construct a bird nest box, bird feeder or suet feeder. Each project comes in a pre-cut cedar kit and is easy to assemble. ARMS will provide guided instruction throughout the project as well as all necessary supplies. We bring the hammers, sand paper and nails, and stay to help the students to put it together. Makes great gifts for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, or just for fun! The completed projects can then be taken home by the students or can be placed in suitable habitats around the school yard or a nearby green space.
