Alouette River: Past, Present and Purposeful

ARMS has partnered with the Pitt Meadows Paddling Club to offer an engaging and interpretive approach to learning about Pitt Meadows & Maple Ridge history, steps to identifying a plant, and the natural process of the river and its surrounding area.

Experience physical fitness and environmental learning all at once. Explore some of the exciting legends and historical events that have helped shape this area. Paddle the Alouette River, learn the truth of Slumach's Gold, see and learn about local wildlife and finish the day with the ancient First Nations game Slahal-a.
